My Future as a Professional Engineer

Becoming a Registered Professional Engineer

To become a licensed professional engineer, you must attend an institution of higher learning and earn an engineering degree in which you learn advanced mathematics, physics and speciality training. Upon completing your degree, you must work for at least four years to earn experience or intern. After those four years you are required to take and pass both the Fundamentals of Engineering Exam and the Professional Engineering Exam. After this you will be a licensed professional engineer.

I would want to become a licensed professional engineer because it would mean that I would be rewarded for all my hard work. Being a licensed professional engineer would make me stand out among other engineers and it would also allow me to get in contact with other professional engineers.

How the impact of engineers aligns with the requirements that engineers must be registered.

In order for engineers to get registered they must go through intense training and preparation. This preperation turns engineering stidemts into serious professional engineers who are prepared to make an impact on their community.
