Panther Central Modifies Pitt ID Services
Panther Central has modified its Panther Card (Pitt ID) services, effective immediately.
If you need a new Panther Card:
- If you are requesting a Pitt ID for the first time, you must pre-submit your photo through the online submission portal. Your new card will be mailed to the address that is on file with the University.
If you lose your Panther Card:
- Please report your lost Pitt ID to Panther Central via panthercentral [at] pitt.edu (email), chat or phone (412-648-1100). Panther Central can create a new card using the old photo on file and mail it to your address on file. Load $20 in Panther Funds remotely and the transaction will run once the funds are available.
- If you require a new card quickly due to access issues, an immediate replacement will be generated, which may be paid for using Panther Funds or credit card.
- If you would like a new photo, please pre-submit your photo via the online portal and contact Panther Central via email, chat or phone.
If your Panther Card is expiring in the next 60 days:
- A new card can be issued with the same photo and mailed to your address on file. Please request a new Panther Card via email, chat or phone.
- If you would like a new photo, please pre-submit your photo via the online portal and contact Panther Central via email, chat or phone.
