Are you a student, faculty or staff member with an idea that for a new program, event or other project for the Year of Engagement?
The Year of Engagement steering committee is accepting applications for proposals for funded projects now through Monday, Feb. 1. All Pitt students, faculty and staff are invited to explore ways they can build new partnerships to confront some of the world’s biggest challenges and co-create solutions at the institutional, local, regional, national or global level.
Pitt’s Year of Engagement is a celebration of the work that’s central to the University’s mission: collaborating to confront the world’s biggest challenges and mobilize toward a better, more equitable and just society for all. Hear from those who received funding for their projects last fall: Year of Engagement Virtual Chat 1 and Virtual Chat 2.
Matching grants will be offered in tiers: door-opening ($500+), baseline ($2,000+) and transformative ($5,000 to $8,000) levels.
