Nominations for the 2020-2021 academic year Provost’s Award for Excellence in Doctoral Mentoring are now open. Sponsored by the Office of the Provost, this annual award recognizes outstanding mentoring of graduate students seeking a research doctorate degree.
Each year, up to four awards are made, with each one consisting of a cash prize of $2,500 to the graduate faculty member.
Nominations should be sent Amanda Godley, vice provost for graduate studies, at vpgodley [at] pitt.edu; the deadline for nominations is Friday, Oct. 16. More information, including a list of prior honorees, is available online.
