Photos: Homecoming 2020

Move over hoodies and hats—face coverings are the newest trend as a team spirit accessory. A reduced crowd of 5,500 socially distanced fans were welcomed to Heinz Field, where enhanced COVID-19 health and safety protocols were in place for Pitt’s Homecoming football game. The Saturday, Oct. 24 matchup between the Panthers and No. 3-ranked Notre Dame Fighting Irish was the first opportunity for students, families and season ticket holders to watch the Panthers since the pandemic impacted gathering size limits. Notre Dame defeated Pitt, 45-3.
