Fresh vegetables, plump fruits and delicious pies from local vendors: Find this and more at the Pitt Farmers Market.

On April 14 and 21 from 10:30 a.m. to 2 p.m., multiple vendors will set up stands on the Fifth Avenue side of the William Pitt Union to serve everything from fresh produce and coffee to BBQ and spring rolls.

“We’re excited to celebrate the return of warm weather with spring Farmers Markets. All of last year’s vendors are joining us this year, and we’re welcoming new vendors selling gluten-free baked goods, plant-based lunches, cold brew coffee and organic snacks,” said Pitt Sustainability Coordinator Nick Goodfellow.

Everyone in the Pitt community is welcome to shop and is encouraged to bring reusable bags. Students can use their on-campus dining dollars or Panther Funds at the market, making this shopping option even more accessible.

Attendees can also drop off compost at the site. Be sure to check that all items brought are acceptable for composting.
