Pitt-Titusville will celebrate its annual pinning and commencement ceremonies at 11 a.m. April 27 in the Henne Auditorium inside the Broadhurst Science Center.
Seven nursing students are expected to graduate with their Associate of Science in Nursing (ASN) degrees. The public is invited and encouraged to attend.
During the pinning ceremony, graduates will receive their nursing pin from a family member or friend of their choice who has supported their commitment and journey throughout their education. While the pin is placed on the student’s lapel, a faculty member will read the student’s statement.
Two student honors, the ASN Academic Achievement Award and the ASN Clinical Nursing Award, will be announced and presented during the pinning ceremony.
After the ceremony, the seven degrees will be conferred by Pitt-Titusville President Richard T. Esch. Then the new graduates will proceed to the courtyard to ring the campus bell, which signifies their graduate status.
