Beginning Aug. 30, Pittsburgh Action Against Rape will host drop-in office hours in a private space on the 18th floor of the Cathedral of Learning.
Every Wednesday from 9:30 a.m.-4 p.m., the Office for Equity, Diversity, and Inclusion will open office space for those seeking immediate, in-person support or information related to sexual violence. PAAR staff can connect you to advocacy, counseling services and support groups; offer advice on supporting survivors; and inform you of your rights related to reporting and anonymous reporting. The services are free and confidential.
Beyond these office hours, Pitt’s Office of Civil Rights and Title IX is available to respond to and address reports of harassment and discrimination. Their website has information about sexual misconduct policies and bias incident reporting. PAAR also has a 24/7 help line: call or text 1-866-END-RAPE (363-7273).
If you are in an emergency situation on the Pittsburgh campus, call Pitt Police at 1-412-624-2121, or call 911.
