Pitt will conduct evacuation exercises throughout August

The Department of Health and Environmental Safety will conduct evacuation exercises in University of Pittsburgh buildings throughout August and into September.

Familiarize yourself with the sights, sounds and procedures for evacuating a building on Pitt’s campus.

The buildings to be tested this fall are:

  • Biomedical Science Towers 1 and 2, 8:15 a.m. Aug. 8
  • Scaife Hall, 8:45 a.m. Aug. 8
  • Salk Hall, 7 a.m. Aug. 9
  • Petersen Events Center, 7:45 a.m. Aug. 9
  • William Pitt Union, 9 a.m. Aug. 12
  • School of Public Health, 8:30 a.m. Aug. 13
  • Information Sciences Building, 9:15 a.m. Aug. 13
  • Benedum Hall, 8:30 a.m. Aug. 14
  • Chevron Hall, 8:30 a.m. Aug. 15
  • Alumni Hall, 9:15 a.m. Aug. 15
  • Cathedral of Learning, 8:15 a.m. Aug. 6
  • Biomedical Science Tower 3, 8 a.m. Sept. 17
