Who is: Neilesh Vinjamuri, Pitt alum and 'Jeopardy!' champion?

The Cathedral of Learning

University of Pittsburgh alum Neilesh Vinjamuri (ENGR ’18) went on a Jeopardy winning streak, winning three games in July and walking away with a grand total of $56,009.

Vinjamuri’s second day on the show was particularly impressive, as he had answered 28 clues correctly heading into Final Jeopardy, while only answering one incorrectly. He was also the only contestant to answer Final Jeopardy correctly, adding to his winning total of $29,100.

Vinjamuri graduated from Pitt with a degree in bioengineering and is currently a software engineer at Certara.
