Willie Kinard III — a poet, designer and musician who earned an MFA at the University of Pittsburgh — published his debut poetry collection with Alice James Books in November.
Their book, “Orders of Service,” received a Publishers Weekly Starred Review. It also won the 2022 Alice James Award, for which Kinard (A&S ’21G) earned publication and $2,000.
