Armin Schikorra earned a Humboldt Research Fellowship

Armin Schikorra, associate professor in Pitt’s Department of Mathematics, was awarded a Humboldt Research Fellowship from the Alexander von Humboldt Foundation. It is among Germany’s most prestigious awards for international researchers.

The foundation will fund Schikorra’s travel to Germany and provide personal research support. Schikorra, who studies partial differential equations, will visit Bielefeld University for 6-12 months over the next three years.
