Gina Bleck was named a trailblazer by City & State PA

Gina Bleck

Gina Bleck, vice chancellor for planning, design and construction at the University of Pittsburgh, was named a Building and Infrastructure Trailblazer by City & State PA.

Bleck, in partnership with the City of Pittsburgh and other local stakeholders, oversees the completion of projects and develops long-term strategies consistent with the University’s Campus Master Plan and Institutional Master Plan. Prior to serving in Pitt’s Office of Planning, Design and Construction, she was the university architect at Georgetown University and oversaw facilities and design at Rutgers University.

Also on the list were alumni Paul Becker (ENGR ’84), vice president of construction and engineering at Peoples Gas; Jon O’Brien (A&S ’02), executive director of the Keystone Contractors Association; and Rosanna Smithnosky (ENGR ’92), president of Susquehanna Civil.
