Submit nominations for the inaugural Black Excellence Service Award

Nominations are being accepted through Jan. 28, 2022, for the Black Excellence Service Award.

This honor celebrates Black community members affiliated with University of Pittsburgh who are making significant contributions to the community through their time, actions, talents and dedication. Nominees should serve as a role model for compassion and service and their work should strive to improve the experience of the Black community at the University of Pittsburgh and throughout the greater Pittsburgh area.

This award will be presented at the Black Excellence Bash on Friday, Feb. 25, 2022.

Nominees must either be current or former Black student, faculty or staff of the University, and self-nominations are welcomed. All submissions should be made through this form. Questions or requests for more information should be sent to lajosho [at] pitt.edu.
