Pitt students, staff and faculty are encouraged to participate in the Pittsburgh Climate Hackathon 2022 on Saturday, April 16.
A conversation from 10-11 a.m. on Zoom will feature Sharpsburg Mayor Brittany Reno and a representative from Duquesne Light.
Then, teams of students and faculty will work to propose solutions to the challenge’s question: How can we increase the uptake by residents and local businesses of energy efficiency incentives offered by their utilities and/or municipality?
Students will create a video, presentation, infographic, etc. that will be due on DEVPOST by 11:59 p.m. the same day.
Registration is due April 9 for the Hackathon, which is hosted by the Center for Sustainable Business in the Joseph M. Katz Graduate School of Business and College of Business Administration.
