Here’s how to catch a ride on Carnegie Mellon’s fixed route shuttles

An A-frame sign reads All Shuttle Stops Here

University of Pittsburgh students, faculty and staff can now use Carnegie Mellon University’s fixed route shuttles to commute to and from North Oakland and Shadyside.

The schools’ reciprocal agreement also allows the Carnegie Mellon community to ride for free on Pitt’s shuttle service, which has routes through South Oakland, North Oakland and the Pittsburgh campus, including Upper Campus.

You can view University shuttles on the TransLoc app: Go to Agency Preferences in the app’s settings and slide the “Visible” button next to each school’s name.
