The University of Pittsburgh’s Office of Planning, Design and Construction (PDC) is assessing and renewing the Campus Master Plan. When finalized in December 2025, the new Campus Master Plan will inform all decisions related to campus development and maintenance for years to come.

There will be several opportunities throughout the process, which will conclude by the end of 2025, for members of the Pitt community to provide feedback on the plan and its updates. The first of these efforts is a series of forums, being held around the Pittsburgh campus. Here’s the schedule:

  • Sept. 4, 6-8 p.m., Hillman Library
  • Sept. 5, 11:30 a.m.-1:30 p.m., Petersen Events Center
  • Sept. 5, 11:30 a.m.-1:30 p.m., Scaife Hall

Anyone is welcome to attend these casual, drop-in events. During the forums, participants can interact with the consultant team and explore displays related to different topics like accessibility, open space and student life. This is an opportunity to give thoughts on today’s campus and give suggestions on ways to improve Pitt in the future. The information gathered will be used to inform changes moving forward.

A survey, now open through Oct. 15, is another opportunity to anonymously share your feedback on the campus experience. All students who submit a response will automatically be entered into a prize giveaway at the end of the month.

There will be additional forums in October and March. Updates and information will be shared to campusplan.pitt.edu.
