Pitt was recognized again as one of America’s Best Large Employers by Forbes

The results are in — Forbes magazine again recognized the University of Pittsburgh in its annual list of America’s Best Large Employers, with Pitt moving up 37 spots to No. 175.

The 2023 listing also recognizes the University as the most preferred large employer among Pittsburgh-area organizations.

Around 45,000 U.S. employees rated their employers based on how likely they would be to recommend their company to friends and family. Forbes partners with market research firm Statista to compile the list of the 500 large employers that received the most recommendations.
