2 Pitt students were elected to the Pennsylvania Pharmacists Association Student Advisory Board

Joe Chen and Shay Roth, both students in Pitt’s School of Pharmacy, were elected to serve on the Pennsylvania Pharmacists Association (PPA) Student Advisory Board.

Each year, seven Pennsylvania pharmacy students are elected to yearlong positions on the board. Roth will serve as chair, while Chen will be corresponding secretary. Both PharmD students, Chen and Roth also earned a BS in pharmaceutical science from Pitt in 2022.

Intended to give students a voice in the association’s policies and activities, the Student Advisory Board meets at two PPA conferences each year.
