A CyberCamp for high school students, hosted annually by the University’s Institute for Cyber Law, Policy and Security, was recognized by the White House in a June report from the Office of the National Cyber Director.

The report, titled National Cyber Workforce and Education Strategy on Initial Stages of Implementation, cited the CyberCamp’s effort to train more than 500 high school students in cybersecurity basics, ethics and career opportunities by 2028.

The weeklong CyberCamp is open to high school students from the greater Pittsburgh area. The programming is free thanks to contributions by the EQT Foundation, Grable Foundation and Pitt IT.
