Dylan Fearing, an undergraduate student in Pitt’s Kenneth P. Dietrich School of Arts and Sciences, has earned the Congressional Award Silver Medal.

Students aged 14-23 can achieve the Congressional Award by achieving individually challenging goals in four program areas: public service, personal development, physical fitness and exploration. To earn the Silver Medal, Fearing completed 200 hours of voluntary public service, 100 hours of personal development and 100 hours of physical fitness over the past year. He also spent at least three days in a new environment or culture.
