Two Pitt doctoral candidates have earned the 2021 Dick Thornburgh Forum Disability Service Award.
The annual award of $5,000 from the Dick Thornburgh Forum for Law and Public Policy is given to a Pitt student from any campus who has made an impact in the lives of children and adults with disabilities.
Anna Marie Clark, a student in the Doctor of Occupational Therapy program, and Alison Mahoney, a PhD candidate in Theatre and Performance Studies, received this year’s awards.
The award is associated with the annual Thornburgh Family Lecture in Disability Law & Policy and given in honor of the late Governor Dick Thornburgh and Ginny Thornburgh.
