Current position
of Dr.Shubnikov - research scientist at Center for Endocrinology �SibDiab�, Novosibirsk,
Russia. For a 12 years Dr.Shubnikov was a scientific worker at Institute of Internal
Medicine at Novosibirsk. With the colleagues he started from the organization of the first
diabetes registry at Soviet Union. With the beginning of �Peresroika� and possibilities of free exchange of ideas and methodology Dr.Shubnikov started his international diabetes epidemiology research as a member of �DiaMond� project. Prevention is always more effective than treatment of disease and its complications. Epidemiology is a key factor for right strategy in diseases�s prevention. |
