Why we use e-mail conferences

• It is to your benefit to write out your question(s) coherently to pose by e-mail. Often, the act of writing out your question(s) will clarify your own thinking.

• If the instructor answers your question in person, other students do not get to hear the question or the answer. If you ask by e-mail, your question and answer will be broadcast by e-mail to the entire class.

• You can also use e-mail to discuss things with other students in the class. Send a message (click here) if you want the class mailing list.
